I recently found this place and I realized that I've been missing out for a long time while living in Southbay. I was always 'whatever' about typical COMBO pizza, but theirs is special and it is my top choice here. I haven't dined in yet, but the interior is pretty cool. It has very Italian vibe and I love it. It shows that they've been around for quite some time.

I found this place in San Pedro. I was actually going next door to the Mexican food restaurant but it was closed that day. I am glad Big Nick's Pizza was open! We walked in and were immediately greeted by the friendly staff. The ambiance was nice. Not what you'd expect from their little strip row of shops location. It was nicely built out and had great decor. It has two sides to it. One side is where you place your order/kitchen and the other side is a cozy dinning room with a bar. Wood paneled ceilings and walls with dark rich stained wood. Beautiful stacked stone adorned the top section of the walls from the wall panels up to the ceiling. Nice lighting, it wasn't too dark that you couldn't see but dim enough to feel relaxed. looked like a great place to eat, relax have drink and mabye catch a game on one of the many TV screens. Clean restrooms too. While we were waiting for our food, we kept seeing dishes of great looking pastas being served to other patrons. My wife and I went for a light lunch. We both had a slice of pizza and we shared a Greek salad. The pizza was fantastic. It came out hot to the table by the server. The crust was great the toppings were plentiful with just the right amount of cheese. Perfect. I had sausage and pepperoni, my wife had mushrooms and black olives. Both taste and texture were outstanding. The Greek salad was unique. All vegetables. No lettuce or any leafy greens. It had tomatoes, bellpeper, onion, cucumber, kalamalta olives, pepperchinni peppers and feta chesse. Balsamic dressing was the perfect dressing too. Everything looked, smelled and tasted delicious! Washed it down with an old fashioned creme soda. What a surprise as we are not local to San Pedro but do visit friends there. If you are anywhere near San Pedro, do yourself a favor and eat here. You won't be disappointed. Great friendly service, great food and great place to sit and enjoy it all. Us supporting local small businesses is great for the people who work hard to remain in business these days. #bignickspizza #buylocal #SupportSmallBiz #SanPedro

Called in our order about 20 minutes prior for dine in. Food was ready when we arrived. Very tasty. The only thing is the fried zucchini had little flavor and the breading was powdery.

I didn’t get to meet or verify there actually is a big Nick but his restaurant was great! The people there were very friendly starting with the young lady up front and the rest of the crew that served us! The food was really good! I had the calamari appetizer and their create your own pizza and was highly satisfied! My son had the pesto chicken and loved it! My mother in-law had the lobster ravioli and said it was delicious. Sadly we are from out of town so the chances we get to go back there are slim by being from NY originally and knowing my Italian food I highly recommend them!

I am very glad I stumbled upon Big Nick’s Pizza. I really like the decoration and how everything is well put together. The service was friendly, attentive, and fast. The food was delicious. The pizza was great with flavorful pizza sauce. You can tell they use quality ingredients and the pizza dough was cooked to perfection with a semi crunchy crust and a soft dough in the inside. I also ordered the sample platter which included zucchinis, jalapeno poppers, chicken, wings, and mozzarella sticks. Everything was delicious. My only recommendation would be to cook the chicken wings, a tad bit longer. Another appetizer we got was a fried calamari one of the best I’ve had. My girlfriend ordered the lasagna and I have to admit it was good but definitely had better however I wouldn’t say it’s bad so with that being said, I would leave that to your discretion and give it a try. Other than that, I would say parking is quite difficult if you go during dinner time which is when I went, you will have a hard time finding parking.

BBQ CHICKEN Pizza is a 'hit'... Must try! I'm definitely going back tonight for Father's Day! Their Mobster theme place, menu, and style is genius. Located in prefect business spot. Wish there were more locations.

While in San Pedro, we decided to try a new place and stopped by Big Nick's Pizza. From outside it's one of many stores in a small shopping center, however when you step in you are treated to an ambiance befitting of the place. The staff was friendly and attentive and food came out delicious. Being an Italian I spired place, you either need to come hungry or with a group of people as the serving sizes are very plentiful. Definitely my new go to spot in in San Pedro.

I moved to Ca 2yrs ago from NYC and I’ve missed NYC food esp Pizza. I’ve tried so many pizza’s and did not like any. Either it was the sauce or the dough but I just couldn’t do it UNTIL today. Someone told my BF about Nicks. I stopped getting excited or hopeful that I would have a good ole NYC slice. We went to Nicks and I didn’t even bother to order. I told my BF I’d have one of his 12 slices. Well I’m so happy to say Nicks has pleasantly surprised me. The sauce is on point and the dough is PERFECT. I had 3 slices and I enjoyed every bite. I’m so happy. Now when I’m craving pizza,, it’s Nicks time. If I was in a pizzeria in NYC and was served a slice of Nicks I wouldnt think 2x about it.
